Being creative requires courage.
Anytime you are creative, you are simultaneously being courageous.
Anytime you want to be creative, you need to be courageous.
The more courageous, the more creative.
Courage and creativity go hand in hand.
And when you tap into both the result is rewarding fulfillment from living into your purpose and doing what you love.
But there’s a problem.
It seems that no one realized we needed a different system when bringing in creatives into the corporate world.
The corporate systems in place are not designed to support artists, designers and creatives like you and me. And oftentimes our creativity is the first thing that goes. We lose that creativity which then makes us lose our courage. It’s a vicious downward cycle.
But it doesn’t have to be like that.
Through my over a decade in the fashion industry, I figured out how to thrive in corporate, despite toxic colleagues, never-ending workloads, and non-existent communication. I found a way that supported my creativity which led me to building a career I actually loved — one where I flourished in my income, impact and freedom. And friend, so can you.
The first step though? It’s finding the courage to step out of your comfort zone. You’ve got to be willing to do things differently if you want to see different results.
In the Creative Career Collective’s free FB group, we are all working towards a similar journey together–so you don’t have to go it alone. It’s a collective of impact-driven corporate designers & creatives empowering each other to build a more intentional, impactful and joy-filled career–not just for themselves, but for each other.
Inside we host weekly mini-lessons tackling your biggest career struggles as a corporate creative.
If you’re ready to take control of your career and start approaching work differently so you can break through the corporate system and start thriving in your career then your first step can be as easy as joining the Creative Career Collective’s free FB group.

Grace
